Greetings from the Edge of Canada, St John's,NL. After a week of viewing quilts, learning new techniques, networking, appraising a few quilts and generally being immersed in the quilting world of the Canadian Quilters Association, we are reluctantly dispersing. Thanks to the Cabot Quilters and their families pressed into service to help at the white glove stations and serve tea and buns, etc... Some of us are heading around the bay as they say here .
Yesterday I was fortunate to meet one of my sons ,his girlfriend and my husband to view icebergs and breathe the cool salty air, here is a pic of my NL roommate and best friend, Anne Kaufman, preparing to walk down signal hill.

Looks like a great site, Diane. I'll browse it a bit more when I get home. We've had a good trip, and some good weather - lots of pics. I'll let you know when I update my blog.
