The round of fall Quilt shows is almost finished in Montreal area and snow has been seen! The leaves are falling as you can see, in our Montreal backyard. I am wearing my red pieced jacket one of my 2008 projects completed or almost ,still plan to do more embellishing. Finished it in time to wear it to the Annual General Meeting of Courtepointe Quebec Quilts .
2008 was the 20th year that quilters from all across Quebec met for show and tell etc.. Everything is done in both French and English so a number of years ago I came up with the idea of doing a mystery quilt during the proceedings. Now every year we get the measurements of fabric in advance to bring to the meeting , the instructions are followed and by early afternoon the hand pieced blocks are assembled and placed on a design wall. A few guilds help out with assembly and it is Long Arm Machine quilted by one of the 10 members who have a special machine and volia, the raffle quilt is ready for next year.
There is a picture of me with members of my Beaconsfield Quilters Guild group who made the trip to Montreal's South Shore.it was a lucky day, most of us won prizes. I now belong to 4 Guilds so it will indeed be a challenge to do three quilts for the guild challenges in 2009.
Flick thru the net and perhaps analysis several e-stores that are included with plenty of tasteful as well as jogging wrist watches

All the grids are being run by the state-owned Power Grid Corporation, which operates more than 95,000 circuit km of transmission lines.

I will be in Montreal this October (2012) and I was wondering if you knew of any quilt shows in the area? I am not having any luck searching the internet. Thanks for your help.
